2026 Monongalia County Fair Livestock Events

Open Show

Open show classes will be determined during the fair week and will be based on the age weight, and gender of the animals. Sign ups are due by August 15th.

Rabbit and Poultry Show - September 10, 2026

Goat, Lamb, Cattle Show - September 11, 2026

Swine Show - September 12, 2026

Youth Shows and Sale

Our youth livestock shows and sale are open to residents of Monongalia, Preston, Marion, Wetzel, Taylor, Greene and Fayette counties. Exhibitors must be enrolled in school (kindergarten to 4yrs post high school graduation if enrolled in post-secondary education). Cattle is restricted to those in 3rd grade and older due to species size.
