Bring in your favorite apron’s to share with us. Ribbons give for Best in Show, Embroidery Class and Best Vintage class. If you have a special story about your apron, print it on a large index card and we will share it.
Quilt Show Guidelines
All entries must be made in last 2 years.
All entries must be clean and in good condition.
All quilts and wall hangings etc. will be displayed fully open and suspended from clean poles and hung from freestanding display framework in exhibit building. Therefore, each entry must have a 3-inch pocket sewn along the top of the quilt or wall hanging to support the weight evenly.
Quilts must be at least 54’ x 75”. Wall hangings will have their own category.
If you just want to get your quilts out and share them with others, please feel free to do so. (They will be tagged “ display Only”) All quilters enjoy seeing each others quilts and past generation quilts made by family or friends, and never have a opportunity to do so, Here’s your chance. Written information and history of a quilt on display, can be included with you quilt entry.
Entries must be delivered and/or picked up in person at the exhibit building. A claim ticket will be issued for each entry and will be required to be presented at the time of pick-up. ENTRIES will be accepted on the fairgrounds on Sunday, August 9, from 12:00 to 4 PM
Classes or Categories will be posted at the time of check in.
The same entry cannot compete in multiple classes or categories.
First, Second and Third Places ribbons will be awarded in all classes or categories.
The “Frances Hare Memorial Award” will be chosen and presented by her family.
Best In Show will be awarded.
All entries agree to remain on display for the duration of the fair.
PICK-UP will be Sunday, August 16 from Noon to 2:00 p.m.
